Yes, the weather is awful. I rode yesterday with winter gear. I haven't taken the toe warmers off my shoes yet and won't until it gets warmer.

Does anyone know of good bike trails/routes around Ellensberg or near there (easy to get to, ride and return in one day)? I'd be interested as it's pretty easy to go there and ride and return. Except, of course, if there isn't snow on the pass (in mid June, no less). Would appreciate any feedback on this.

Also, has anyone tried a Topeak Allay saddle (allaysaddles.com)? I saw these at the Bike Expo and am vaguely interested in trying one. They have an open center with a fabric covering which should greatly reduce rub and the usual grief associated with long rides. I like aerobars and leaning forward for long periods of time causes some added pressure.
