    NO! NO STRAWS! Straws bad..you don't want to suck out that clot. Dry socket is immensely painful.

    Allow yourself to heal, you will be happier in the long run.

    I forgot about the straw thing. Okay, put them in a blender, but keep the trashy novel.

    The tooth is actually still in...the dentist just cut off the gum on top and didn't want to take out the tooth because it is too close to some nerves, plus she said it wouldn't cause any more problems *at least I hope so*. But the area is still healing and swollen and very painful to touch.

    I am not so bummed any more, because I just made my mouth feel better with a chocolate milk shake! I haven't had one of those in years!

    And resting actually feels good I am just afraid that getting back on track will be hard.
