First, let me say that TE's little team at the Horsey was awesome! Bright and articulate women (and a couple guys) that were a lot of fun to ride with!

Today, we kept seeing Susan and Germaine along the way. I'm glad that they decided to do the 70 route...you can tell they're strong and consistent riders!
IndysteelFriend Ed opted for the 50 since he had to get back to North Carolina.
Silver decided she was going to keep a comfortable pace, but indulged Indysteel and me in our desire to push hard...and push hard we did!
We did the 70miles averaging 17mph!
I'm proud to say that in 50 miles, NO ONE passed us!
I'm embarrassed to say that this was a tour and not a race, so it really didn't matter!
The terrain was constant rollers. I've not been able to download the Garmin yet...but I'm confident there was at least 4,000 to 5,000 feet of climbing.
Once I tightened my right pedal removing the float, my right knee got better
But, then I noticed too much float in my left knee. Alas, I lost once of the brackets holding my cleats in...and was about to lose the entire cleat! Some hard tightening and I managed to finish along with Indysteel in record time, sans one cleat bolt
Let's have more join us next year!
Yippee! With my 20 tomorrow, I'll be at 200 miles in 3 days.

Congrats Mr. Silver! I had to laugh at that statement. I did pretty much the thing on our metric century "tour" today.

Mr. Silver it sounds like you guys had a fabulous weekend here in Kentucky, so glad for you guys. I missed joining in the fun but must admit I had a great time on my century today. You guys must have been burning up the pavement on the 70 today. I remember it as a tough ride glad you guys had a fun day on your bikes. I hope next year I can join the TE group for the HH100.

MotionBased is up....4,978 feet of climbing!
Today, half the roads were rough and potholed. Indysteel hit one pothole hard and I was surprised she didn't have a flat.

sweet!! I could not have done 70 on Sunday, no way. The bf could have, but I had nothing left in the tank
nice ride Mr.Silver...
also, if I sent you my email, would you be willing to send me those elevation charts? Noone in my crew had a Garmin, and I'd bet they'd love to see what those hills look like on paper
I need to get a Garmin... thinking of an Edge 305 for the Canada trip... but the battery time concerns me and not sure if I'll have access to an outlet every night while camping in Canada, hmmmmmmm...
