I don't consider someone to be addicted to buying bikes until they have at least 5 bikes.
I have two, so plenty of leeway there.

I think it's smart to buy a dedicated commuter bike aside form your usual fun bike. Ideally, they need to be set up pretty differently for the two different uses anyway, unless you don't ride much overall (and what commuter doesn't ride much?).
