Dexter is one of DH's favorite shows.
It's dark and conflicted, and definitely thought-provoking.
It was (still is?) on Showtime (I think...some "premium" cable movie channel). We still can't believe they transitioned that show to primetime network television. We haven't seen it since it made that move. I suspect they really toned it down for the network viewers. There are 2-3 cable shows on network right now since the writers' strike got them so behind. I don't think it's permanent.

I will have to check it out. I have heard about it but never watched it. i didn't know it had moved to prime time either!
