Our agent called today. The couple that came through 3 times last week came over another 4 times this weekend. Today they decided that the house didn't have the right Feng Shui. How can it take 7 viewings to figure that out?

Curse HGTV and designers for going public with stuff like that. I like where I live - a house is a house. If it has enough rooms, looks good, isn't falling apart, and is in the right price range, everything else can be changed. Feng Shui and house staging is for more sophisticated folks! It hasn't caught on around here!

Wonder if there is Feng Shui for cave dwellers and hut dwellers in the remote parts of the world.............. "NO - we can't keep the shrunken heads THERE!" ah.............but we live in a country of excess, don't we?

I was having a similar discussion with my realtor recently, HGTV seems to have given every younger home buyer the idea that they have to have a $50,000 kitchen...even if it's in a $150,000 house.

Oh, you met expectations. It was just how fast you would.

I love taking the train! I take the train to my sister's from San luis obispo to Anahiem. The first part of the trip is just breath taking! It takes you along the coast through Santa Barbera. And at sun rise it is so pretty! But you have to read a book going through Los Angeles. So dirty and yucky not much to see. And they to serve beer and wine!. I believe it is $65.00 round trip. Which if I drove my truck down there it would cost more. It is a 4-6 hour car trip and 6 hours train. Not having to drive through LA is really nice!

The brewery did not bother to contact me when I was making up our training calendar. If someone does go up for this (AHEM), take our growler with you....

First Female World Beer Cup Champion Crowned
    April 20, 2008 by Mario

Every two years, the World Beer Cup is held t honor the best in brewing around the world, naming Champion Brewers as well as Champion Breweries. This year, for the first time, a woman was named a Champion Brewer.

Here are the highlights from the 2008 Word Beer Cup. The website and press release claim there is a full list of winners available at www.worldbeercup.org, but there must have been too much celebrating, as I can not findanything except this press release on the website. When more is known, I will let you know and comment accordingly.

Wonder how much I have in the piggy bank.
Are you sure there aren't better ways to spend that money? Like on a pair of red shoes for me!
