I finally rev'd up MY red Sidi's.
Taking them out for their first spin tomorrow and will be thinking of you. Do you think it is over the top to ride a double-bubble pink cross bike with the red Sidis and a pink jersey? Maybe add the pink Terry "Ride like a Girl" socks.

Thanks to everyone for sending good wishes for my return to touring! I'm working today, but leaving early so I can drive as far as Bangor in the daylight, then I'll set off on my bike in the morning...

I'm amazed that you were able to wait this long before breaking out your red Sidis! I did wait a while to don mine, but only until the weather changed for the better. Somehow I couldn't face wearing them in wet nasty weather... Red shoes, a pink bike, and a pink jersey sounds like a perfect inauguration to me!
