    Sure!

We're going up to Folsom, and toodling along the American River Trail or riding up to Auburn, whatever Lee is up for.

We started from Folsom on the Sunday version of the Mad March Hair ride and we really enjoyed it up there.

We'll be staying Friday & Saturday here. It has pretty reasonable weekend rates . Maybe we'll even wander over to the outlet mall across the road.

There seem to be some nice restaurants, especially in the Old Town area Folsom.

I'm really looking forward to this.

Sounds like a nice way to spend a birthday. Does Lee like lemon meringue pie?

DH is going to big initial squared tax place (not sure if its correct to put in a business name or not) tomorrow night to get our taxes started, I think we have to pay in so we are procrastinating. Thank god I will be at work, its painful for me. He has his own business and we go thru page upon page of do you still own this, or this, or this, etc..i hopefully can get out of it and just stop down and sign some other time. He is insistant that I be there to hold his hand I think. Had my parent's over for lunch today. DH and mom had left over spanish rice and dad and i had limburger cheese/onion sandwhiches on rye bread for lunch....yummy..the smell is horrible yes, but the flavor is realllyy reallllyyy good, really! planned on making tapioca pudding for dessert, but didn't have time. Had a dentist appt this morning and got home just as they were pulling in the driveway. perfect timing.. Had the house all cleaned last night, got up and there was mud in the kitchen. DH swears he didn't do it, strange, no one else wheres muddy boots..he said the cat did it. so had to clean again. Just made the tapioca pudding, it's nice and warm. had to sample it before supper. way too windy today for a ride, i am getting sick of the wind. I might have to learn how to suck it up and just ride. Falls make you stronger right?

Have fun you guys!! Give Mr Bob a big birthday hug from me. You will have a great time up there its such a pretty place. Hey I might be biased though seeing it was only about half an hour from my old place.

Cross your fingers that the doggie breeding tonight was a success! It sure appeared successful to me!

The pups will be some quality dogs and squeezably cute.

    Nothing quite like a puppy.

Yeah--ugh! Mine aren't that complicated to do yet, but I still hate doing them!! Especially state--much more of a pain than federal.

We are surely having to file an extension this year. Again. Hard to do them without DH's K1. Duh.

Mmm. Pie. I wonder what I have that's like pie.... Must investigate.

Yeah, what is with that? I just got my K-1 on 3-28. This is my first year with a K-1...is the late arrival normal?

Depends on your accountant - and also how quickly they're given sufficient information by your business, in all fairness. DH's firm's accountant is just lazy. Maybe he bonked.

Anyway, the following topics were discussed: quarks, anti-matter, Fibonacci numbers, and the wild Przewalski's Horses (in addition to singing the "Beep-Beep! Road Runner" song).

Perhaps these topics would lend themselves to a rolicking good discussion here also!

Beep beep! Arrrgh!!! The house next door has been up for sale, it is closing now. Thursday they tented it for termites. I guess the gas or something disagreed with the smoke alarm - it started Thursday, and continued beeping through to Saturday morning. Have I mentioned my bedroom faces the street? I could hear that incessant beeping all_night_long. At about 4:00 am I'm standing out in the driveway, listening and trying to pinpoint the beeping. Figured out what it was, and knew there was nothing I could do (besides be really *****y and call the Realtor at 4 am--but I didn't) I ended up moving to the couch in the back of the house.

Someone showed up this morning and disabled the smoke alarm. Tonight I will sleep!

Stupid technology! My alarm clock automatically adjusts for daylight saving time. But, it doesn't know that Congress changed the rules, so this morning I woke up and saw that it was 6:30, so I got up. An hour later, I look at another clock and it's still 6:30!

Dangit! Up and at 'em at 5:30 on a Sunday morning! Not fair!

LMAO divingbiker, I did the exact same thing.

I bought a new PDA in December and stupid me, I assumed it would have the freakin' 2007 DST system update already installed. (Actually I didn't assume that, I'd downloaded and installed the update in my old PDA so long ago that I'd forgotten it even might be necessary. ) So when I looked at it this morning and it said 6:05 a.m., I got up, even though it seemed pretty dark. Well, it was supposed to be cloudy.

By the time I got to the kitchen to make my cup of tea and saw that it was really 5:05 by the oven clock, I was already awake, no point trying to go back to bed for an hour. I assumed I'd just misread my PDA with my sleepy eyes. It wasn't until 7:00, when my PDA rang for a reminder I'd set for 8:00, that I realized what had happened
