Curse HGTV and designers for going public with stuff like that. I like where I live - a house is a house. If it has enough rooms, looks good, isn't falling apart, and is in the right price range, everything else can be changed. Feng Shui and house staging is for more sophisticated folks! It hasn't caught on around here!

Wonder if there is Feng Shui for cave dwellers and hut dwellers in the remote parts of the world.............. "NO - we can't keep the shrunken heads THERE!" ah.............but we live in a country of excess, don't we?

I was having a similar discussion with my realtor recently, HGTV seems to have given every younger home buyer the idea that they have to have a $50,000 kitchen...even if it's in a $150,000 house.
