I've been Mostly Away but on friday (last friday) I did 13 miles on the treadmill. I have to say, that was a lesson in something. I'm not sure what but OH was it boring! I'd make up little games in my mind like "let's see if I can do another mile before <insert something here such as another person walking by or another new person to the gym orientation talk>". Gads. Finally I had to keep telling myself that I need to be strong mentally and this would do it.
I did a track workout on the treadmill on Sunday. While I am/was darned tired of the treadmill, I am equally tired of the wet and snow and cold.
