Well, my 4.5 hour ride that should have happened on Saturday got moved to Sunday.
So I had to go to a local multiuse path, a 9 mile loop, to ride 4.5 hours.
I rode 71 miles at a 15.5 mph average. It's a pretty flat path. It was LONG! Come hour 3 my thighs were burning. My butt was feeling it too. HA!
Once off the bike my thighs were burning and the pain was felt... but I had to run! Luckily it was only a 8-20 minute run. I ran for 14 minutes, and 1.50 miles... a 9:40 minute mile. I was shocked I ran so fast. I think I was just delirious. HA!
Actually... anyone else notice how the longer you ride and/or run... the less intelligent you get. The less you can process. I get loopy after a certain amount of time and I can only comprehend the basics... eat/drink/move forward. HA!
I called my boyfriend after my ride and I was so out of it, and trying to figure out my Garmin. I was saying one thing, he was saying another... and in my head I was thinking he was thinking something else. It was nuts.
