Howdy..good morning...

Did a good run this morning. We have decided lately to concentrate on a more thorough warm-up, so I did my usual 5 min walk and then another 5 mins of skips and hops and silly whatnot and then stretched.

Today I decided to do a 5/1 run to walk on a one mile trail loop. I brought three miles in in 28 mins with the walk breaks. It felt good to move a little faster. I swear it hurts me less.

I was worried because I did 90 mins on my road bike yesterday. Easy, but still longish for me.

I also wore my cho-pat strap on my knee for the first time. I think it helped. They had discouraged me at PT from wearing it, fearing dependency, but I think it helped.

So I think I am as ready as a recently injured runner can be for my first 5k on Saturday!!!!!!

Yoda, sounds like you are getting better. Sorry you are aching. I get tired of the aching part.
