OMG- I swear if it gets to 5.50 a gallon here. I am a full time bicyclist!!! I wish for one week everyone, everywhere would just say, You know what? I don't need your gas. I'm goin to walk or bike to work.

Unfortunately, we hear, "Gotta have it, so I guess I'll pay for it."

No, you don't. Thank goodness that I get 6-7 months a year to bike to work and do simple chores. Of course, 2-3 of those months are pretty chilly.

I say to the gas company...Do your worst! I have a compact car that gets 33miles per gallon and I only fill it up 1 every 3 weeks when I am biking!

Hubby and I are hermits, who have no friends!
