I ran 2 short miles this evening. I practiced things from the running form thread and I can see where I am off! I still have residual aching things but there was nothing new and the old stuff appeared to be abating. I realized that the reason why walking never felt better than running was because my running form was my basic walking form, ie heel to toe. I can see by a midfoot strike how there could be so much power but for now if I stop thinking about it, I start going back to the old way.
Practice.
Anyway, I'm pretty excited!!
