Jeez, that's a great thing for your mom, Mr. S, and for the residents in general. Wish they'd had something like that when my mom was in a nursing home. It's fantastic to see nursing home residents having such a great time!

Well, we have one too. I got ours on Christmas Eve, got in line at 4:30 AM and it was 15 degrees! Mom couldn't figure it out at our house, but it's clear that she succumbed to peer pressure! Of course, she was the youngest one in the group!
It's funny how much the difference between ages 7 and 14 makes.

As a new update:
Tonight, we bought Mr. SilverMom a Wii for her own apartment in the assisted living facility.
In the first game, she whipped SilverSon 198 to 162!
Her high score is 257!
For those of you with elderly parents/inlaws, I think the Wii is outstanding at engaging them and keeping them active, sharp, and excited!

My MIL is loving hers. We haven't been able to get her onto the balance mat yet though.
We just got one for ourselves this afternoon after playing MIL's at our last visit.Haven't even set it up yet. What are everyone's favorite balance games?
