Not sad at all!!!
It's the same for just about everyone I know on a run longer than an hour.
I run-walked my last half-marathon at a rate of 1 minute walked for each 20 minutes ran. Some guy passed me while I was walking and I passed him immediately after. As I got next to him, he said "I guess this run/walk thing is working!?" and I told him he should try it sometimes, it sure worked for me. We chatted for a few seconds and then I left him. I looked for him to pass me on my next walk but he never did...
Every time I start running after walking I feel just totally fresh. It's much easier to take scheduled walking breaks than to walk because you can't run anymore.
Keep doing it! You'll find it really efficient!
