A while back The Boy's best friend came and stayed at our place for a bit while he bred his ridgeback to a stud in Jersey. A few months later, we have pictures of the little snausages!

    Cuteness overload!

Too bad they're far away and I can't go see them, but I will send them virtual snuggles instead.

    Awwwww puppies!
When I was young our Aussi had puppies! My favorite thing to do when I got home from school was to lay down in the yard and let them all come over and lick my face and crawl all over me! That was cool!
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

    Awww, cute!!

Creative names for them, too. Especially when followed with the word 'rhode'.

Look at their little ridges! I've never seen a baby ridgeback, I'm surprised they are born with such prominant ridges. I bet that's good luck or something.

Awwwwwww. I get a more visceral reaction to puppies than to babies--guess there's something weird in my "wiring."
I've never known a ridgeback personally, but that is one beautiful dog, and the puppies--so cool with their tiny little ridges!
    Congratulations!

I will vouch that the mama is a wonderfully behaved and lovely personality dog. She definitely only has eyes for her master, but she is such a sweetheart, so easygoing and gentle for such a big dog. Her owner said that not all Ridges are born with a ridge, in fact not all Ridges have them, and that the ability to breed that trait is very highly desired. Little Ann's mom bred all ridges and looks like she followed in her mama's footprints!

Me too. In fact, one time at work I heard a noise in the reception area that sounded like a puppy and I came racing out to see it. When I found out it was a small human I said "OH, it's just a baby." Then had to back pedal and make up some story about how the baby was really cute and I was just surprised because I didn't know what the noise was coming from. Really, I was disappointed that it wasn't a puppy.

    Rhodies are beautiful. What cuties!!

Me three. Shhh, just don't tell that to the baby stubbornly still hiding in my belly at 40.5 weeks. I keep trying to coax it out with "You need to come out and meet your dogs!"

Ridgebacks are beautiful, but I've never seen ridgeback puppies! The tiny ridges are just too cute.

    Wow.
The remind me of the little kangaroo fetuses when they crawl up to the pouch to finish developing.
