Mr. and I went for a ride today and on the way home we both had several mini chocolate bars. Mr. had more than me. He chose Krackle and I chose Mr. Goodbar. Chocolate is a good recovery food!!

I dunno about chocolate bars after a workout but chocolate milk is my nearly ideal recovery food.

You've got your liquid/hydration food group, your protein food group, and your chocolate food group add coffee (make it a mocha) and you have the caffeine food group.

I'm pretty crazy for the chocolate from Mr. Theo in Seattle. Their single source "origin" chocolates are soooooooo good! Just chocolate and sugar. MMmmmMMMM. http://www.theochocolate.com/products/

    Thanks!

Knot.. Thanks for the recommendation on the THEO chocolate bars. Found a store in Mount Vernon on their website list -- I'll check it out this week. I'm always in the market for a new chocolate to try! This is probably one of the many reasons I'm not dropping the winter weight yet!

PS.. My vote is also for the chocolate milk post ride -- excellent stuff!

We need to plan a TE Seattle ride to Theo, do a factory tour, then ride back.

I need to find out if Theo has bike racks. There won't be room for more than a couple bikes at Free Range's rack, and they'd probably rather keep that open for their customers.

Or we could just lock all the bikes together.

Yeah, how come on Extreme Makeover and all the remodel shows on HGTV, DIY Network .... I'd go on vacation for a week in an exotic locale (or nearest Disneyworld ) while a crew remodels my house.

Please note the Cadbury Creme Egg... coming soon to a store near you! (though I'm partial to the Carmel Eggs)
