Can't believe I missed this thread!

Wow.. you guys have been doing what I've been thinking about doing for a month! I'm sorry I missed out so far, but if you don't mind I will play along with posting my weigh-ins. I started "getting back at it" after the first week of January. My hubby, who is NOT AT ALL athletic minded, decided to start on the trainer every morning and lose 20 lb. When I noticed he was sticking to it and losing weight, I was shocked, and feared he would do better than me! So... I've worked on the weight issues. My heaviest was a few years ago at 190 (I'm 5'7" and big boned), even though I was still working out at that time. I have always worked out, and people are surprised that I am as athletic as I am, because I do carry a lot of weight (the family curse).

When I started 3 weeks ago, I weighed 181 lb. Now am at 176.5. Progress! I've also started training more specifically for a June 28th olympic tri, and am therefore more committed to harder workouts than I was doing before. I find that a goal helps me to push it harder than I otherwise would!

So, I'll check in and keep better track. You gals are going to be great for me.. kind of like a personal weight watchers program! Thanks for starting this!
