Okay <taking self by throat>,
This week is my taper.
That means, regardless of anything I might have done today, when I go for a little jog on Thursday,
I will not go past the turnaround I planned just because I can tag the lifeguard tower, circle a sunbather, or whatever, if I go a little farther.
I will not chase cars to read their bumper stickers no matter how slow they are going.
I will not wear a bra that I know causes my HRM to lose contact, just so I don't have to wash one of my good ones before race day.
I will not sprint for the letter carrier when she turns onto my street during my cooldown walk, even if I have another outgoing parcel.
