For the record, X's chili was excellent (as always). And she wonders why I don't cook that often! I may be able to salvage the chicken/ginger/garlic/rice brick by adding a bunch of chicken broth and treating what I have as a 'concentrate'. hmm. Kinda forgot that rice sorta doubles in volume as it's cooked. That was a learning experience.

Not much for plans today. Gonna finish my coffee and give Tai his playtime. He's doing better every day. No cysts anymore at all. little white things swimming in the water that I assume are the later stage of the bug, detaching to diversify (and then getting killed by the saline/formalin/malachite--- MUAHAHAHAHA) Full tank change tomorrow. Gotta figure out where to put the gallon of water to settle and age a little...

Heading to the motorcycle shop for parts and to the video rental place to return our strange selection... (Shrek III, Pi-arrrrr-ates of the C-arrrrr-ibbean, Wanda Sykes, Reservoir Dogs) I always get a little thrill picking weird stuff altogether and seeing what the clerks' reactions are.
