Chloe is absolutely beautiful.
Your talk about your cold place made me think of a couple things:
1) In college, I lived out in an old ramshackle farmhouse without any heat except wood-burning stove. When we had a stovepipe problem in January during below zero temps, my 2 roomies and our 3 dogs all sat on one couch huddled together under one electric blanket. Electric blankets aren't just for beds!!
(At night, we each took a dog to bed with us!)
2) These days, I'm saving money by turning the heat off when I leave for the day (in a milder climate than college, but still cold). I have been making my elderly cat a hot water bottle every morning, and she absolutely loves it. I tuck it into her sheepskin pad, and it keeps her toasty all day while I'm gone! (Don't worry...we haven't had anything close to freezing temps...I'm not abusing my cat...she's just old and I like her to have extra comfort.)
