Thank-you, Salsa, for a funtabulous time! Your home is truly beautiful. I'm glad that the headaches of the remodel are over and that the efforts of the last year turned out so well. Now you can sit back and enjoy all you've accomplished. And I am amazed by your and Mr. Salsa's talent and artistic ability.

It was wonderful getting to meet all these fantastic TE women and their SOs. Hopefully I have the opportunity to ride with everyone soon, including Bruno in her hometown. That would be amazing! Alas, I'm afraid that will be some years away with issues regarding time and $$$. <Sigh> Maybe, I'll win the lottery soon. 'Course I think that I actually have to play to have even a minuscule chance of winning. So I'm not holding my breath. But a girl can dream.

Thanks from me too, Salsa (and a hearty thanks to SalsaChris too!), for hosting us in your beautiful home.
Food, fun, friends is a great mix - every time, right? I thoroughly enjoyed the 'TE meet' and hope to see you all again soon - maybe out on a ride, eh?
Hey, Bruno - stop lickin' that Drambouie bottle - it's empty already!!

Guys, you can't imagine what a blast it was to have you all. What a totally cool group. I'm going to post below the same thing I said on OTA---for those who don't read OTA:

Man, the Bruno TE dinner last night was a blast! We had: Knotted Yet, SKnot, Mimi, Raleighdon, Sgtiger, Boy in a Kilt, Teigyr, Sean, X, Kit, Wahine, MM_QFC, Linda, Eden, Dex (did I miss anyone??). Bruno and I said to each other today, “Huh. Every single person was smart, funny, really nice, and interesting. How often does THAT happen?”

Surprised we didn’t get any police calls due to noise complaints about “Frequent Extremely Loud Bursts of Group Laughter”.

Guys---thanks so much for coming. We loved having all of you. Can’t wait to see the pics.

And furthermore, anyone who has a cat will know that this link tells the whole truth and nothing but (ask Kit why she wakes up with wet hair):

Bruno, it was indeed Kit's and my honor to meet you. You are even funnier and warmer in person than you are on the forum, which is saying a lot. Thank you for coming to Seattle to visit. We look forward to seeing you again someday, maybe in your country next time. (((Bruno)))

We had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone. Thank you so much Salsa and Mr Salsa for having us all over. You two are incredibly kind (read: mentally ill) to allow such a group of miscreants in your wonderful home.

*ahem* I have no idea what you are talking about with the Drambuie. I was a good girl.

Here's some pics from last night. Enjoy...

The gang from visual left to right as follows...
kitsune, salsa, xrayted, sgtiger, knottedyet, linda, mm_qfc, bruno, wahine and teigyr standing, sean, eden, boy in a kilt, dex.
(I think I have it right. ) Unfortunately, Mimi and Raleighdon had already departed. Sknot also missing from the pic. (Smart kid. )

Why don't I remember any of those pics being taken?

All I know is I woke up this morning with a Scottish accent talking about effing E. Wankers.

Great pictures! I wish I could blow up the big group one a bit bigger so I could see people better... Looks and sounds like you all had a good time. I want more of the story of x getting felt up please.

KG - you'll have to ask Wahine and Knot about that...and be forewarned: they'll claim a professional and therapeutic interest only

And Bruno/Wahine - I have a funny feeling it'll be a long time before I can hear any references to the English, without picturing your patented 'turning of the head while cursing and spitting' reaction!

Glad that you travelin' types got home safely too.

oh...oh....my. Yes. Lovely pictures, crack included

Thank you Salsa for a great evening. Your house looks incredible! We had a great time. I still can't believe you can weave with steel but it was very soft, as steel goes.

It was incredible meeting everyone. I could not have asked for a better group of people to hang out with. I look forward to seeing you all (and others) again.

Knot, if you ever want to road trip to get a wetsuit, let me know. I'm all over that one!

So here's a little cut and paste from elsewhere...

I had a blast. I made it home, but not without dropping some more bucks at a Lulu Lemon store in Portland. When I got home I gave DH the kilt I bought for him, very nice if I do say so myself.

    Thanks to everyone!!

    It was really fun.

Bruno - you are a gem and I'll never be able to say a certain word without expectorating again, thanks to you!!

    X and Kit
    - You're too much. Thank you.

    Knott
    - I would've rolled you out right then and there on the wet boardwalk, manipped that sucker and bin done with it...

Teigyr - You will be hearing from me. Your SO is a lovely man and I can't wait to see your pole sometime!!

SGTiger and BnK - It was great to meet you, I think I got more of a chance to chat with BnK more, (you're right, we are a little off), but man that was a hell of a good chocolate martini!!

Dex - You're fabulous, love the hair, love the socks, love the attitude. I hope we see each other again.

Salsa and Mr. - What wonderful, sweet and warm people you are. Your house is lovely and warm, a perfect reflection of it's inhabitants. And I love your craft room and Ginko fossils.

MM_QFC and Linda - What a wonderful pair. I truly enjoyed chatting with both of you.

    Eden
    - You're adorable. It was very nice to meet you and the scones were excellent.

Mimi and RD - we'll make up for it all later. It was nice to meet you even if we didn't get a chance to really chat.

As for feeling up X - I won't deny it, it was completely innocent, well as innocent as I can be after all that alcohol.

And Teigyr and Knot....Hmmmmmmmmm road trip. I have 2 guest rooms and lots of great riding.

Pssst... Wahine... if you don't remember last night, I don't either....

I really loved the expectorations. In the end, I think I cleared my sinuses a little with a good *nnnngggggkkkkkkk* *cccccchhhhhhhhhhh!!!* but only a mock *ptui* after... y'know... the English. F*ckin' Engl*sh.

As far as the Xident went, I looked over (beside me!) and just see X's kilt up by her knee and two PTs all glittery-eyed feelin' up her leg. What's a woman to do? Oh, yeah, I sipped my Drambuie and went back to discussing the finer points of politics with our Scottish Ambassador.
