I drive from east coast - Delaware to northern Michigan once or twice a year - alone. Takes about 15 hours. You need good music to listen to cause radio along that trip (well anywhere anymore) is just awful. My last trip in Sept my car stereo died.... ended up with Ipod and 1 headphone in my ear. It was less than satisfactory. I say go for it - both of you.

oh good! i would have loved to go, but we had a climbing trip booked down to wv that weekend!
