Best Guess - Sacramento Bee. The article mentioned the American River, which flows past Sacramento. Did some fish seining on that river...

Wow!!! What a great story and lady. I can only hope to be her in 40 years, providing i'm still around
. Reminds of a story I wanted to share with you folks..I took care of an 82 year old man, who was riding his road bike and bit by a dog. He started riding I think he told me 15 years ago, after he won all the senior tennis tournaments for his area and wanted something different to do. He rides 5000 miles a year. The man takes no medicines, still works part time at his own acccounting business, and didn't look or appear his age at all.
