One of the other managers at the nursery my DH works at is a former cyclist. His dad still rides and has a gun mounted to his handle bars!! He lives in west Texas and I believe it is for the wild hogs not motorists. Although this came up after my husband told him about me being hit with a can by a motorist, so who knows?

That is too funny! But since we live in Texas... I totally believe it.

I think the cyclist should be happy the car stopped and checked on him. That rarely happens.

I say it's only OK to shoot if the car hits you and takes off. But shoot for the tire so you can stop them in get their insurance info to pay for the bike

I use to bike with a glock, but it wasn't for people protection, more for bear protection.

I figure 8 bullets for the bear, if that didn't stop him, then the last one for me, I was hoping not to have to use the last one.

Considering I grew up in Wisconsin.... maybe that explains it all.

    Cool

I guess I'll just stick with my hand grenade!

Joking apart I must confess to getting really annoyed with car drivers, have been known to kick doors.................not a very good example but I was bloody annoyed.
