LOL. Put your winnings to good use, something to better humanity. Peeps for all, maybe. "A Peep in every basket.", yeah, I like that.
Oh my.![]()
And now for something completely different....
HALLOWEEN PEEPS!
Including the newest offering -- Spooky Friends. They appear to be individually wrapped Peeps. Proof that there is a God, and s/he loves Peeps.
and Halloween season is probably... (now?) in our local supermarkets!
Yuck! I don't like either of them. Cadbury eggs (the little one's like m and m's) are my favorite and Jelly bellies!
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

OK... circus peanuts???
Any real peanut in those? Perhaps covered in candy or choclate? Or no peanuts at all?
And Jelly Bellys are like Jelly Babies??? Maybe???

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow".
Peeps are scary any time of year
.
In 1963, General Mills vice president John Holahan inventively discovered that Circus Peanuts shavings yielded a tasty enhancement to his breakfast cereal. General Mills formalized the innovation and created Lucky Charms, the first breakfast cereal to contain marshmallow bits (or "marbits").
YUCK!!!!!

Circus peanuts? No thank you.
Peeps? Ew...please, no. I can stand them if they are stale, but even then...not my first choice for a sugar fix.
Cadbury Creme Eggs? Not if you paid me...those things are NASTY.
But candy corn? Yeah, I like candy corn. I crave it near Halloween and one bag not only lasts the season, but it kills the craving for a whole year!
Didn't I read somewhere that candy corn were actually a good on-bike food? They don't melt and they are predominantly honey? Fast acting glucose at it's halloweeny best!![]()
My new non-farm blog: Finding Freedom
circus peanuts have no peanut and no peanut flavoring. they are an odd combo of fluff and chewy made of pure sugar with light orange food coloring.

In college a friend of mine fit a circus peanut ever so elegantly into his left nostril. It's a picture I will never forget. I never wanted to eat them before.... and certainly not after!
Candy corn is something I try to resist and I luv the brown-bottom ones. Peeps I dont' have to work so hard at, but I do like the way they sound when I'm crunching that sugar.
I shall munch it all vicariously too,k this week, runningmommy. Tryin' to Be Good This Week.
Well......I have a confession to make.
I ate a whole package of ghost peeps. I couldn't help it. It was calling out to me and it looked lonely sitting on the shelf next to the pumpkin peeps. There are fewer ghost peeps in a package than the pumpkin peeps and I thought to myself that I won't do as much damage with ghost peeps.![]()
I like BOTH candy corn and peeps. Actually my favorite 'candy time of year' is Easter. I love jelly beans - sour and flavored(Sweet Tarts, Starburst, Life Saver brands).
Smarties - gift from the gods
Cadbury Eggs-wayyyy toooo sweet for me
Circus Peanuts make me vomit
Candy corn is doable but only a handful at a time
Peeps-have to be the yellow only- and can be eaten day or night, and the staler they are the better they are. They would be my choice of the confectioners world.
