    Awesome!

I'll be happy if I can average 13mph when I'm 60! I'm 44 and averaged about 14mph on my first century a couple months ago.

    Congrats!

Good job. The century mark is a big step.

I'm contemplating whether I want to try a double next year or focus on helping my wife get ready for her first century. Both ideas have their merits but I think watching my wife finish a century will be more rewarding that proving to myself once again that I can shut down my rational mind and keep going just a little while longer.

Drink LOTS of water today and tomorrow and take a little light exercise tomorrow (a walk will suffice). Both will help flush the sludge out of your muscles. Some good clean protein and carbohydrates will help you recover too.

    *rubs hands together and chuckles*

Ah, another long distance rider added to the fold!

And all the other snails said..."Amen!"

This is my goal by the end of the year - 100 miles...

Got a way to go, but your post is inspiring me to get my a into g!

    Way to go! Awesome achievement

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".
