I'll be doing the century route. Bay Hill has been somewhat repaved (their starting a new quarry out there, thankfully hidden from the road) so not as bad has it was in the past--I swear I about bounced off the back of the tandem one time on the old pavement.

Foodwise, I think the New Yorker has faster service. They also have pasta, which Old Chicago does not. Their salads leave something to be desired, but they are greens if that's what you need. A transplanted New York family runs it--I watched the kids grow up, so I'm a little more partial to them.

I can't make it for a pre-ride dinner, but I'd be up for stopping for a brewski at Dempseys afterwards. Their food is very good, with many of the produce coming from the owners farm.
