I headed out for a ride at 5:30 this morning. It was a 'cool' 80. I can't ride as long as I normally would, but at least it's a ride.

I rode yesterday for a 45 miler and it was 97 when I finished. I didn't feel as exhausted because I headed out before I baked from the heat of the road. That, and my CamelBak kept me hydrated. I am really bad about not drinking enough. I've always joked to my hubby that if we ever crash in a desert to let me go and find help. I can go a long time without water.
Today it's 101 now with 52% humidity, which makes the heat index 112. I'm meeeeeeeeeeellllting.
