No worries - I'll get the T-shirt first, then we can discuss the details.

I still have that card you sent me the last time, I get a chuckle every time I see it.

OK, one week and counting! What is the dinner plan for the night before? I don't know the area at all, so suggestions will be more than welcome!

I can't recommend any place for dinner - since I usually solo'd it I stuck close to the hotel in the past. That means Applebee's.

    But this might help:

Sorry I'm going to miss this, Holstein is my favorite ride.

There are quite a few good restaurants in Petaluma. I used to live there, and the number has grown since I moved, but some reliable favorites are Dempsey's Alehouse (not just brewpub grub!), the New Yorker Pizza (for the thin crust fans), Old Chicago Pizza (for the thick crust with 3 lbs of cheese fans) and Volpi's (pasta and they have a former speakeasy in the back).

    Mooo.

In light of my AT's (see Marin Century thread if you really want to know) and overall laziness, plus the fact we have a houseguest, we're doing the metric only. I have to ride with DH and the butcher (my dermatologist/our riding friend who's super fast on the hills). Should be interesting. I have to ride the Grizzly Century with them in October as well. Oy!

Deanna, every restaurant you've recommended to us in the past has been great - thank you so much !

Anyone have any preferences for pizza vs pasta vs (not just) brewpub grub? I'm game for any of those.

What time will you be meeting for dinner??

Just trying to work out if I will make it there in time to come along.
