just finished floyd's book today. after reading some previous threads I was leaning towards "science doesnt lie," especially in regard to the carbon isotope ratio test. but now I am CONVINCED he is innocent. i would love to go to a book signing, that would be so cool! maybe he'll show up at el Tour de Tucson again this year!

I was at his book signing tonight in Seattle. He is probably one of the most straight forward people I have ever talked to.

Ditto for me!!! Although I did go to the book signing and I am so glad that I did. Before reading the I kinda figured that he was innocent but you know when you really just want something to be true. Well, after reading the book I am also convinced. There is just too much info in there and I have not heard anyone coming out and saying any of it is not true.

I think Congress should do a thorough investication of USADA before giving them one more red cent, which is also our tax payers dollars.

    well...it doesn't.

but you can say that it does if you have people not following the prescribed scientific processes and procedures. especially with those crazy tests these labs have to perform - there's an exact way the machines need to be calibrated, an exact way to follow each step, etc. if these are not followed correctly (and they can't exactly prove their inaccuracy) then who looks like the bad guy??

i feel for Floyd. i hope the USADA doesn't follow suit the way they've always done and never let the athlete win. i hope they can stop being full of themselves or playing with politics and use the justice system for what it's made for.....
