Regina - I noticed that about the previous owner's set up as well! It looks so weird like that...doesn't it?
Yes, she has fenders that I use for bad weather. I use race blades (big ones) because they are plastic and they flex just the right amount to accomodate the small front wheel.
I also kept the 32c TG tires that she came with to use in the winter (when it's dark and I can't see debris as well) and for touring. I love that she's steel, but not super heavy! If I could only have one bike, this one would be it.
Of course, I also own her cousin...the Terry Isis.
