While we're on the topic- does anyone know of a good large-boob/small-torso bra that provides a lot of support and doesn't have clasps or snaps that make it look like underwear?

I used to get the Road Runner Sports C/D cup one, but they only have the tank-top version of it on their website now. I'm a 36 or 34D (depending on the brand), and I want something I can wear by itself but that will still protect my "investments."

Title 9 carries a few that are really great. The "Frog Bra" which is advertised to let you "leap without bouncing!" They have a few others and are worth checking out!

OK, Lise, I resurrected this thread because I had an experience this afternoon that has left me, shall we say, deflated.

Rather than come home right after swimming, I headed out to do some bra shopping. The 2 that I have are in dire need of replacement.

The saleslady insisted that I needed to be remeasured. No way I could wear a 36A. That is just such an uncommon size. I must be a 34-something.

New measurement: 36AA. Actually, 38AA, but they don't commonly make those. She didn't know what to think.

    I'm switching to preteen undershirts.

Well, here's someone else with your "uncommon" size. No wonder it's virtually impossible to find bras that fit. Actually, it is impossible. I don't own a single bra that fits right.

I realized the other night that my too-big sports bra is REALLY too big. When I got home from my ride and took it off, my chest was covered with little gnats. What had happened here? How did they get scooped up in there? I did ride through some gnat swarms, but how'd they end up inside my bra? Put the sports bra back on and leaned over in front of a mirror...how absolultey horrifying to discover that the thing is so big, it literally gaps open and you can see EVERYTHING. Nice. Really nice. I'm a flasher now. Although there's not much to flash. Good grief.

Forget preteen undershirts...I think I'll just go with a couple of bandaids.

LOL, me too. Same size, but now the 36 is starting to dig in my lats so I'm probably a 38 and the cups are now not really cupping much since I've been training more. I might even be an AA.

No kidding...36A here. When I find a bra that is actually made in that size and fits me, I buy three. And I can appreciate Eden's irritation that they keep changing the darn things!!! Just when I think I'm set!

Moving Comfort offers some nice bras and nice racer back, full length bra tops. I used to wear them in aerobics.

I'm, er, a little busty and I am trying to find a bra that doesn't dig into my ribs. I have lots of those nice tanks with the shelf bra but when I get around the freezer section, well, you know......

When I was at Wal-Mart the other day I found a bra that I can wear under those shelf-lined tanks. It is a pull-over bra that has thin straps, no wires, and comes in cotton or microfiber. I think it's called The Most Comfortable Bra or something like that. Anyway, I have been using it under my jersey's and it's not too bad. Wish it had wicking properties.

By the way, have you noticed how many of those sports bras are designed to give you the uniboob?
