Yeah - sounds like fireworks. How seasonally appropriate!

Not sure having a seasonally festive butt is topic for the dinner table. Interestingly you could see the crack

. . . in the rock! Get your minds out of the gutter.

Let's talk about V's awesome elbow makeover instead.

What is it about butt bruises? My most colorful one is...not fit to be photographed.

I second Nicole's advice - vitamin E straight out of the capsules, and try to keep it out of the sun - I think sun can make the scars darker. Although some people just scar more easily than others.

That's going to be a nice looking scar! I'm glad you're OK - it looks like it hurt.

Where are the photos of SK's owies? You're supposed to document these things.

Stitches are now out. I have little surgi strips instead.

There was talk of it, but since they spanned the entire length and width of the, err, nether regions, I nixed it.

Sea buckthorn oil also known as Siberian oil or in the Original Russian (transliterated) "oo-blee-peee-kha" (This last syllable is the guttural "ch" in German). It is(was) a berry and by the colour I would guess it has a lot of Vit E. It was one of Ghengis Khan's 3 secrets of success (as wounded Mongol hordes recovered from wounds which would have killed lesser mortals)
[The other 2 were stirrups and discipline!]
I used it to great success after Russian immigrants told me about it. It is available at Natural Health type shops.

The poison oak is wierd. It is just this little three inch section on the inside of my left wrist. I have no idea how I got it just there.

I've never had it before, so I googled it to get a picture.
