yes, yes, me, me! I wear knickers even when it's going to be warm. but when it's colder I always wear longfingered gloves. I LOVE my knickers!

Ibex wool knickers. Here i am modelling them on top of Hurricane ridge; 5000 feet and about 47 degrees last week.

I wear knickers "most" of the time, except when it gets to be about 80 or hotter. I feel comfier in knickers.

I wear knickers between maybe 45 and 60 degrees. The Terry full-finger gloves that TE carries (http://www.teamestrogen.com/products.asp?pID=14148) are nice, I wear them between maybe 47 and 55, when it's not freezing but a little cool for regular gloves. I really like them -- great fit and materials. I have a few pairs of favorite full-finger gloves for biking in various degrees of colder weather, none of which are actually bike-specific. I have a pair of Polartec Powerstretch gloves with grippy palms (Eastern Mountain Sports house brand) that are great for weather in the 30s/40s. It took me a really long time to find gloves that would keep my hands warm below 30 deg. but were still flexible enough for braking and shifting comfortably... finally found a great pair of Marmot spring-weight ski gloves that do quite nicely, with a mid-weight polypro liner when its super cold. I didn't like the PI gloves/lobster mitts -- they seemed too stiff & boxing glove-like to me.

I wear knickers most of the time. Same Ibex wool knickers the lovely Miss Mimi is modelling in that great picture! (Damm, Mimi, you got some niiice legs!) (And cool knee socks.)

Trek420 always wears knickers, keeps her knees happy.

My full finger gloves are plain ol' wool gloves with leather palms. $15. Get 'em at Cabella's or Meijers or Farm and Fleet. Cheap.

Another lover of all things knicker here! For really toasty warm knees I love my Witches Britches from Ground Effect. Fleecy knees!

I found my full finger gloves feel bulky, so I'm thinking of trying glove liners with my regular bike gloves next fall/winter.

Thanks everyone for your input. I just ordered a pair of knickers and a screaming yellow jacket from Performance Bicycle. The knickers aren't wool, just lycra. After I make my new bike purchase I will check into wool.

Yep, you'll almost never see me in shorts, PI Sugar Knickers right here on TE.

As for gloves when it's cold or might turn cold on a TE ride I learned from Jobob here to carry glove liners. I always have a few lying around here somewhere; smartfeet, TE has smartwool glove liners.

Just wear them over your regular gloves. Takes the edge off the cold and when you warm up just put them back in the jersey pocket.
