    I'm just happy it prevents premature ripening. Nothing worse than a banana being done before you're ready for it

    Okay, some friends bought this Banana Bunker for DH for babysitting their dog one day. As a joke, of course (I HOPE!). I don't even want it in the house. I searched the site, and this looks different than the one that was posted before (unless I missed something). I think this is even worse! I have not found a banana that will even fit in it - the "ribbed for pleasure" area looks bendy, but isn't very flexible at all - the lid would pop off easier.

    I think the ribbed part is to expand for your longer...bananas.
