GOOD LUCK KRYS!
We all feel this way! I think before my first 4 races I felt that exact same way!
And, I completely have those thoughts about my HIM in October. There are times when I say, "you will be trained and ready"... and other times when I say, "What the H@LL were you thinking!".
I know for me... the night before a race... it really helps me to NOT THINK ABOUT THE RACE. I watch TV and I clear my mind as I go to bed. I tell myself, "tomorrow is just another normal day". Doing this gives me a perfect night's rest before a race.
Otherwise... yea TriGirl... when I get up in the AM... my nerves get to my tummy. Let's just say I've killed a couple of toliets in my day... and I hear this is a VERY COMMON occurance. HA! (Yea, TMI!)
Good luck and report back to us with all the juciy details. Enjoy the race.
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside thoroughly used-up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: WOW WHAT A RIDE!!!!"
