Washington requires tests for scooters, too. Here, at least, the test is required for anything with an engine bigger than 50 cc. (Little bitty scooters with 49 cc engines don't need a motorcycle endorsement in Washington.)

Well, I made it home! Had to ride across the Golden Gate Bridge and it was very windy. I don't like riding my bike across it. It was fine. I have to get more smooth with acceleration/braking. So many bike ideas/skill tarnsfer well to this.

Em and Mike ar on it right now. I can't carry passengers til I get my "real" license.

The scooter store class on how to ride it was VERY helpful. I have never ridden a scooter or motorcycle before and after 2 hours of class, I feel pretty comfortable.

I think we need licenses here (with tests) for 50 cc as well as larger.
