I work in the basement of a house (very small business) and have often taken Frankie to work with me. There's a large yard and she loves to hang with Taylor the Black Lab. However, since I've been commuting by bike (one of our cars died) she's had to stay at home. For some reason, pugs just don't do well running along side a bike!!

WAIT!...Maybe I could put her in my huge Timbuk2 messenger bag....hmmmm.

I wish my employer would let us bring our dogs in. Unfortunately, too many "health concerns" from those who don't dig pooches (allergies and such) preclude it. Hey, I'm allergic to kids, so why can they have bring your child to work day? LOL. My dogs are better behaved than most.... LOL. Now, please, moms, don't get mad at me!!!

I love my pups more than anything, but to be honest, I couldn't bring them to work. One of my dogs just requires a lot of pets and it would be too hard to get work done while having her constantly wanting attention. My dogs have learned to bark for attention. Also, I have meetings all day and I can't imagine leaving them in my cube or brining them to the meeting. My other dog would totally disrupt a meeting, jumping all over people, looking for stuff to chew up. It just wouldn't be a good idea. It would be a very very stressful day.

Hey Salsa, there are lots of things that could be done to improve that barking situation. then you and your dog would be happier!

I don't mind the bark so much at home. Candy only does it when she's really excited and wants to play. Toni does it if you leave the room and she knows you're around to hear it and she wants attention. It isn't too often, but I definitely wouldn't want barking dogs at work. My office is a very active cubicle farm.

I know it's something that dh and I are to blame....we give the dogs the attention they want when they bark!

Well, since my job requires my full attention at home (SAHM) LOL, I bring my dogs to work with me everyday.

Lots of dogs in the cube-farm

I work in a large office building with big open cube farms - it would be utter chaos if we brought our dogs to work. But the dogs might have fun!

My kitties would approve of Mimitabby's "stay home with the cats day" And since the 23rd is my birthday maybe, just maybe, I can convince them that I really don't want another hairball or dead lizard for a present.

This is my pooch. I am considering training her to be a therapy dog and would love to take her to work with me. She would really like kitty-kitty-kitty day
She is saying "take me to work with you PLEASE!!!!!"
She's going to have pups around the 20th of July
Thanks for the tip on dogs at work day!
