I had this experience and decided cutouts just weren't good for me. I now have the Fizik Arione on both my bikes and have been very happy with it -- haven't done a really long ride with it yet, but I've done up to 40 with no problems. It really does offer lots of riding positions, as hyped, and I appreciate this. And believe it or not, I can finish a ride with no chafing or soft-tissue discomfort that would have hurt on the cutout saddles I've tried.

Not to say that there might not be one out there somewhere that would work for me though.
