I think I'm done testing the Zero X. I sooo wanted to love it, but just can't get it adjusted. I have about 150 miles in with it, and things just aren't getting better. I tried tilting it down, but with 2 short rides like that (20 miler, then tilted it down slightly more, and did another 20 tonight), I just can't see a difference. My sit bones have adjusted, and don't hurt for the first mile anymore (actually, for the first mile tonight I had high hopes that I'd gotten it dialed in, because everything was way comfy), but beyond about 7 I start feeling the soft tissue problems, and by 15 I feel like things are swelling a little. It is by no means the worst I've tried (and I like the shape - the butterfly was wrong for me, and I had to keep pushing myself back on it, as I'd find myself inching forward), but it just isn't going to work. The soft tissue problems were probably about equal between these two - I haven't tried the Falcon, but I may be done with Terry saddles (tried the Damselfly a couple of years ago). Not sure what is next, but I just put the SSM ERA Luxe (men's) that came with my bike back on. Not sure it wasn't the best I've tried. I think I'd be fine (sort of) if I just rode on the brake hoods, but the drops and the aero bars create some issues.
