OK I hear you alpinerabbit - I did the same thing. I was doing the math "OK I can swim 500 in 10 min but I had better add 2 min ...so 12 min . . , transition could be as much as 4 min. Ok if I go really slow on the bike I should be max 50 min, ..... and on and on and on.

You have done your practice tri - you know what to expect as best you can. Tomorrow will be better because you can get out and practice again. Rest days are tough. "I should be DOING something! ! ! ! "

Now that I have the first one out of the way I am much more "sensible" for lack of a better word about it. I am totally out to improve my weak areas now that I have pinpointed them.

I have set some new goals for the next one, went to muscle pump class and made myself get out and run 2 miles. I AM going to get better on the run ! ! ! !
