    SilverSon's 1st Metric & Silver's Tri-Win

SilverSon completed his first Metric Century and did great! It was tough...very hilly for a 13 yr old who rides a lot, but hardly outside the neighborhood - 2,800 feet of climbing!

Silver won her age group in the sprint triathelon in Owensboro, Ky

    Way to go!!!

    Silver must be wrapped!

My 13 year old son will be attempting a century (metric though) race in October...
Well done and congrats to yours... 100 miles is a great notch on the belt!

Yes, Mr. was definately the encourager today. I couldn't have done the tri without his help. Especially with my current open water freak out situation. Mr. steadied me and sent me on my way assuring me that he and silverson would be having a great time riding.

And Mr. and son had a really special bonding time too. good stuff!

    some pics are pending...

Not too good in the pic dept, I only got one of my tri team with awards after the race. There were lots of photographers there so hopefully I'll get some later. I'm on the far laft side, #413. All the ladies on our team won awards. There were 160 participants so we did have some competition. Our team actually had 20 folks there but not everyone could stay til awards.

I need to give a special shout out to the folks on my team who knew that I was having anxiety about the water and were very encouraging.

I don't think that Mr. and Son took a camera.
