Endurolyte caps. I got a pack of them at the Holstein last year - really helped me when I got a case of heat exhaustion too.

you might also look into potassium tablets. If he's sweating a lot he's losing potassium. The three things that remove potass from the body are:
    sweating
    breathing with your mouth open
    urination.

Some of the symptoms of potass imbalance are: leg cramps, headaches, muscle fatigue, "heavy legs"
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

crazy at it seems, he might simply need more salt - on rides or in general in his diet.

Salt - maybe. We don't salt anything but he eats enough processed foods and deli sandwiches to pick up a ton. Hmm, wonder how much salt there are in Peeps? More likely to be the potassium.

I picked up a bottle of the Endurolytes last night which he is going to try at Party Pardee this weekend. I do like the idea of the full set of electrolytes.
