Congrats on the new frame! I'm awaiting a new frame, too. My first single, actually. My husband got me into tandem cycling with him last year and now I'm ready to go out on my own. He ordered me a Cannondale CAAD9 in black and will put all his great components on it from his "old" bike. NICE components, Dura-ace, etc. and not very old. He, of course, upgraded to an even better bike.

I'm REALLY frustrated, though, because my frame was ordered 3 1/2 weeks ago and I'm now being told it may be another week or so. I'm going nuts! In the mean time, my husband got his brand new bike, we bought my 11 year old a new bigger bike and gave her old one to the 9 year old, who promptly let it get stolen. My husband wasted no time replacing it for her, so SHE got a brand new bike. Then he decided he was all into mountain biking and ordered a really nice MTB off Ebay. It arrived today, of course. Two nights ago a friend of ours came by with the new bike he finally decided to order just two days before and already got.

THIS IS NOT FAIR!!!! Everyone around me is buying and GETTING new bikes while I sit around picking my nose. My husband even ordered and got, not one, but two new pairs cycling shoes (Road and MTB) while I worked hard to find the right one's for my very narrow foot, finally ordered them three days ago because no store actually carries my size, but I just found out they my shop didn't physically get ordered until TODAY.

BLEH! Okay, thank you for letting me vent.

Yay for us! We're getting a new bike!!!
