Do you mountain bike? Isn't Lancs near some great mtn biking? How far are you from Blackpool?

thanks for the vote of confidence crazycanuk, i notice that we are both scorpions and love roger taylor!!!! Queen too?
i live about 22 miles from Blackpool and cycling there is great also another little coastal town called southport which is a mainly flat cycle ride.
There are loads of fantastic rides around Lancashire and some rather big hills too, I once (and i stress once!!) went from my house up up up towards a place called Rivington and up up up towards where our TV masts are situated (Winter Hill) the whole ride was about 33 miles and i swear it was all uphill even coming home, PHEW
I called in at a local pub for a drink but then chickened out when all heads turned to look at my red face and licra clad butt....... so ended up slurping all my water !!!!!
If you ever have the chance then come to Uk and cycle ....
