It actually tested out at almost 40 UPF, but they apply a hefty margin of error to be conservative. That brought it down to 32, and the convention is to round down to the nearest number ending in 0 or 5, so it ends up at 30.

We get lots of requests for a sun protective jersey, so when we saw how light and airy this long sleeve piece was from Canari, we were pretty sure we'd found a winner. We were delighted to get back the results that it tested over 30!
