    Thanks! I really like writing... one of my first loves- I always come up with things while riding, but b/c I have a goldfish's memory... well... they're short-lived. Here's another one... just b/c. Ri/Ri I love yours. A compound fx'd clavicle? Yow! D*mn!

    Close your eyes and feel
    the road beneath you for now
    the texture of it

    black asphalt whispers soft
    and packed dirt trails crackle
    with dry leaves and twigs

    To ride is to be
    open to the sensation
    of the world around.

    Taste the morning air
    the cool touch of eve'ning air
    the scent of farm fields

    We don't commute, we
    make a journey, twice a day
    A little venture.

    In our own zen way
    we do it just to do it
    for the joy of it.
