As of an hour ago, the 2-day history looks like we're good to go... Funny that there are not precipitation readings for the periods of 20:55 & 21:55 when there were apparently thunderstorms, but it appears that area only got a tad over .5".

My alarm's set, too, and I'll check in here when I get up.
As a hiker, I fully agree with keeping bikes off of wet trails. If we get to Rosaryville and it's too wet, maybe we could do the Patuxent ride you guys did last fall. It wouldn't be too far out of the way coming back along the Beltway.
"How about if we all just try to follow these very simple rules of the road? Drive like the person ahead on the bike is your son/daughter. Ride like the cars are ambulances carrying your loved ones to the emergency room. This should cover everything, unless you are a complete sociopath."

So whaddya think? Are we on?
I say we go for it. Worst case scenario if it turns out to be too wet, we can go somewhere and have some breakfast![]()

See you at 8:15.
WHen Janice was talking about downpours in Takoma Park we didn't have a single drop in Olney.
Sounds like you had a blast.
I don't think it's too soon to start a thread for a June ride. I'm good except the 9th and 10th (out of town for the Diabetes ride).
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

I still want to try out that route I created in the Riley's/Poolesville area (the one that avoids most of River Rd), so I'd be up for a road ride in June. So far, I don't have any Saturdays scheduled for work, so I'm pretty much wide open.
I'll start a new thread for June.
